Hey there, I am coffeeboi. The developer behind speedracers. Now with the alpha-beta period getting over, it's time to start get started with the next update. Which will take some time, but it would definetely be worth it.

UPDATE 1.01-1.03 | What Can You Expect?

- Multiplayer: With the upcoming update, now you can invite your friends and challenge them with a platformer. There will be a maximum of 8 players for each room. With multiple obstacles & around 3-4 maps for the first update. It's going to be quite a breeze! 

- Multiple Game Modes: For the singleplayer mode, there will be new game modes. Which includes - A classic game mode, A rythm-inspired game mode, A platformer game mode & one more, for which I haven't decided yet. But it will be coming in the later updates!

- Fixing bugs which were reported in the alpha-beta: There have been quite a few bugs, which have not gone unnoticed. Such as poor functionality of the start button, to getting to type before the game begins. These are a few bugs which would be covered in the next update!

- Shop Menu: Playing the same game, with the same character would just get boring! Instead, in the next update. A shop system would be coming, for which players could buy new skins for themselves, which includes a few power-ups.

- Audio: The alpha-beta did not include an audio. Even if it did, it didn't function properly. With the next update, there will be a proper audio system for the game. So, get ready, things are going to get spicy!

Last but not least, we also plan to include an online leaderboard for the singleplayer game mode. From which, you could compete against the top-rankers of speedracers. 

Thats quite a lot! I am very excited to bring this up in shape. Starting off from completing the singleplayer before laying my hands dirty for the elephant in the room - THE MULTIPLAYER! Haha, stay tuned :)

We plan to cover all these updates by the end of the year - Before christmas, the next update which would be the first update 1.01, It would cover the entire of singleplayer with multiple game modes & shop menu and fixed bugs. Which should be released by the end of august!
